I'm in Spain and I've just been offered 2 Grandstand tkts and a meal in the newly refurbished Spirit of '99 bar :duh:

I'd sooner be on the terrace anyway tbh. I only organized this trip for Nov because there was just the one home game.

So if you'd rather be on the terrace, why are you going to Spain?

Shirley you'd rather be in Spain?

Yes

Go to "A place in the sun" but I think you need to look back a few years to find the episode Merv bought his terrace in Spain.

Looks like the half priced tickets worked and it’s on the way to being sold out

Good to see. Would that indicate if Ulster Rugby got their pricing strategy right we could see better crowds?

We used to talk on here about the product on the pitch. The product currently is at an all time high, we're good to watch.

Appreciate we cannot sell tickets at half price to every game, but if a non glamorous tie versus Zebre with internationals missing sells out its definite food for thought.

If it’s sold out for a home game vs Zebre then thats fantastic.

Shows there is a demand for the game. Cost of living crises is the probable reason for lowish crowds and not a lack of interest.

Very true. This is the one game every season that I'm not fussy about going to. Not much fun watching Ulster run up 50 points against a team that hasn't a snowball's chance of winning. On the other hand, even less fun watching Ulster losing to a team that hasn't a snowball's chance of winning1
