Development deals for McNabney (3 years), Wilson and McLoughlin (2 years)

Surprised at Wilson only getting a development deal. The way our squad looks he's likely to be a very regular fixture in the senior team.

You’d imagine he’ll be upgraded early if he continues to be in the 23.

So with Kitshoff confirmed as leaving, does this mean Eric O'Sullivan gets a new deal?

Current prop resources for next season (please correct any errors).

LHP – Andrew Warwick (2025), Eric O’Sullivan (2024), Callum Reid (2025), Cameron Doak (xxxx), George Saunderson (xxxx)
THP - Tom O’Toole (2027), Marty Moore (2024), James French (xxxx), Ben Griffin (2024), Scott Wilson (2026)

TOT may of course switch sides.

Ulster should target Jack Boyle from Leinster (a very promising youngster behind Porter, Healy and Milne) and sign an NIQ 9 or 10. They’d still have money to spare.

In reality, Kitshoff was slightly better than Kitshoff around the park, but probably on a par in terms of scrummaging.

I might be in a minority of one, but if we need numbers at loosehead, we could do worse than Kyle McCall if he was interested. Currently the Hinch captain, where hes been mainly playing TH I think, one of our own for a wee bit of cover?

Can't see Boyle coming to us. Healy will retire within the next year. He will be in Leinster 23 whenever Porter (and probably Milne) are on international duty.

Probably prudent way to do it but certainly looks like he deserves a full contract. If he was South African - we’d be offering £500k a year & giving him the keys to the free house beside the ground!

I think Griffin was maybe already released - seemed to be back in the AIL with Clontarf

It's not unusual for players on development contracts to turn out for their AIL clubs.

It seems his developmental contract ended in October.

He is currently working as a sauna technician and completing his studies, alongside playing AIL.

Isn't another ulster legend, Schalk "Hond" Van der Merwe togging out for Instinians these days? Just get someone to mind the braai for 10 mins while he does a quick cameo off the bench.

No. Because we didn’t.

As previously stated, he had a spell in Australia after he left Munster.
