RTE not being blocked. Ireland 33 - 12 up after 55 mins. Ireland best backs by a mile but Scotland have a strong set of forwards. The strong wind is playing a fairly large role.

Re: U20s / Women's 6N 2020
Two big packs playing wind assisted rugby --back play at a premium --some big lads in the Irish pack which makes you wonder why the scrum was weak. One or two will make the professional ranks in a year or two, most won't
Within this carapace of skepticism there lives an optimist

Saw on Facebook someone reckoned Finlay played well, anybody care to comment on him and any of the other Ulster lads?
Big result for Italy against Wales, apart from the national team Welsh rugby doesn't seem to be in great shape these days.

Finlay played very well. He was a little terrier and put in a lot of tackles. He is a snappy passer and would have been in the running for man of the match.
Stewart looked good and was involved in one of the tries. However he was second best to the Scottish hooker who was superb and will be in the Scottish senior side in the next couple of years.
Thought Hyde was okay but saw little ball before going off after 6o minutes. McCann was very prominent defensively but I have seen him play better. He had a lovely flick back in his own 22 to his number 10 who then went the length of the field to score. Great try but the Scottish full back was a turnstile.
McElroy did okay and should keep his place.

Could they not play some of these games outside Dublin?

Surely no-one can be suggesting any of these matches take place at Ravenhill! Just think of the problems the team would have crossing the border And remember they play some of these matches on a Sunday.waggonsroll wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 8:03 pmIt was played in Cork, which last time I looked was a bit outside Dublin.Jackie Brown wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 5:04 pm Could they not play some of these games outside Dublin?

McNamara makes two changes to Ireland 20s team for Friday's clash against Wales
Head coach Noel McNamara brings in Ulster winger Ben Moxham for his first appearance at this grade while Marcus Hannan comes into the front row.
Ethan McIlroy, who is out through injury, and Charlie Ward are the players to make way.
7:15pm KO RTE2, BBC2W & BBC Red Button

Thanks Neill, first I've heard of Moxham
