Re: Ulster vs Wasps
Unlike baggy I will just give the one feck on the use of the pitch during a RWC competition which sees the final played at Kingspan. This competition whatever we think of womens rugby is at least in part designed as one small step in showing that we can deliver a RWC for the big boys in 2023.
The pitch itself at Ravenspan will see several matches up to an including the final and I personally think it is nothing short of a joke to be playing a rugby match when trying to screen the tournament around the world for a global audience. We will of course likely ride our luck and get away with it and show ourselves as wonderful hosts but it would be everything that they deserve if the pitch cut up or god forbid that micro climate which extends between the flats and the Free Presbyterian Church decended for a day or so...
btw.. how did last weeks friendly against Saracens go?

In Dublin there is so much going on for the WRWC. Place is heaving with teams and visitors and welcome banners everywhere except strangely D4
Not a mention of the competition anywhere near the stadium and the shop not selling the womens shirt ... (nor Ulster)
So not surprised to not see Belfast, Logan and UR giving no fecks

Rum, if you click on the link that Cap posted and it asks you to sign in, then you will have to sign up or perhaps one of your offspring would have an account?rumncoke wrote:Capt having never signed up

Feck its some difference with Jonno. Hands on, barking orders. Not looking like a grumpy bar steward on the half way line.

It's not often anyone on here agrees with any of what I spout. Am I pushing it too far to suggest Reidy should be in the running for captain?

serendipitous but I'd certainly have time for Reidy as captain. Vastly improved and gives his all every time he plays. unlikely to be in the international mix up and he seems to have totally bought in to UR.
Don't know what he's like in terms of leadership, communication and personality but I'd be more than happy to see him lead the team out.

His interviews are fairly few and far between - comes across as a sort of chilled and spaced-out kind of guy.Loki wrote:serendipitous but I'd certainly have time for Reidy as captain. I think Marcel would give it a bit more oomph.
