Not drinking the local produce is seen as grossly offensive. And we wouldn't want to be rude.

Match tickets now available through UR ST accounts. Huge stadium - don't see there being a mad rush.

If buying direct from Bordeaux, not available yet. French sides usually only sell match tickets 2 weeks before the game.

INDEED and as to be sure we don't offend the locals, we have booked a trip to a St Emilion vinyard on the friday preceded by an oyster tasting and trip to the seaside .... a wee bit of culture

4 of us booked into an Aparthotel in the city centre ... 5 day trip - looking forward to this one

I was there for a long weekend in May. Planes, hotel and tickets sorted for October

Stayed central and then ate / drank in and around the Place du Parlement quite a bit.

Really enjoyed it, locals very friendly, beautiful city and plenty of places to eat and drink whatever your taste. You may notice a lot less locals speak English than in other parts of France.

Paid a visit to the Begles club shop as well on the main shopping street, where the staff were quite excited about the imminent arrival of Mads - I didn't have the heart to tell them that he isn't even the 5th best Irish fly half....

Tram service looked good but to be fair we walked everywhere we wanted - the city centre itself isn't that big. We stayed on the west bank of the river for shopping / eating / drinking - the east looked a bit more modern / businessy than the old town / city centre.

The Connemara, The Black Velvet, The Blarney Stone, Molly Malones all within walking distance to the ground, then you have The Houses of Parliament if you fancy a plot.

Went for Section 34, since it was next to 35 and a good chance of getting a gathering of Ulster fans rather than all spread out around the ground.

Black velvet claims to be a Belfast bar. I think we should try them out.

There are 5 of us going and I'm trying to get agreement on the £12.21p tickets.
Fri/sat & sun nites in some dodgy airbnb.

Dartboard and darts with Union Jack/Tricolour flights (2 only).
You get sussed out by the time you're halfway down your first pint.
Bloke at end of bar given lots of respect by other customers and never puts his hand in his pocket for a drink.
Friday night a bloke comes in and plays with his organ by himself.
