Any updates on Deccie Fitz? How many games does he ever play in a row? When his contract is up for renewal I would imagine it would be touch and go if he gets it renewed. It appears to me that he is very unreliable and seems to be injured more than he is available.

He should be back for one of the Italien matches. He signed a new contract at the start of the season.

He has just had a bad run with injuries, the latest one picked up away to glasgow while minor was a neck injury and the doctor would not let him play.

It was caused by the glasgow loosehead stepping in on the engage resulting in a head to head collison, the ref pulled him for it at the time. Hardly deccies fault.

He is a handy wee prop, had been close to ireland call up twice now only to be injured.
Why? Why not?

Aye, I like Deccie - nice option for the bench and one for the future. Would be great to have him and bigmac as regular options off the bench.

Concerned that Best and 1F are playing on with injuries. We cannot afford for them to miss any games between now and easter.

Since he walked into a desk in Mrs Clarke's P1 class (the desk however is firewood). ;)

No, I believe he sat out training on Monday or Tuesday with an ankle injury.

I wasn't blaming deccie, it just seems over the last 2/3 seasons he picks up an injury, returns for 3 games, picks up another injury and so it goes on. We have had other good players who never realised their true potential with us due to being plagued by injury.

Have we now got all our players, bar Jaret Payne, fighting fit for the run up to Easter weekend.

What about McComish? Was the injury as serious as it looked on the pitch? Heard he broke a cheekbone or something.
