Disgraceful that the main BBC website seems to have have dismissed the triumph.
A Lionel even co-wrote/directed it.

BBC NI on Ireland's No 10s.
Paddy W, Mike G., Jack K Tec the Ulster reps
And great highlights involving Crossan, stockdale, bowe, Ringland supporting these 10s in scoring tries.
Great stuff!
I hadn't realised that the Ogara/ Sexton transition had been so acrimonious.
For me Mike Gibson on a different planet at either 10 or 12

Paddy Wallace gets in but Paddy Jackson doesn't ...

"It's like American football and sumo wrestling gave birth to a baby with huge muscular thighs all caked in mud."
Ted Lasso's definition of rugby
A better show than I thought it would be.

Farm to Feast.
They had the wrong two in the final for a start.
Think I can fairly safely say that I eat better every day of the week.

Gods of Snooker on iPlayer is extremely well done - three hours of stuff on the game in the 70s and 80s.
Plenty of familiar faces and interesting footage of a young, chubby-looking Alex Higgins in the very early days.
Even Ray Reardon turned up. I thought he was about 75 in 1981. Maybe he actually is Dracula after all.
Hope the Belgian Baldy B@stard wins.
A man recently asked me where he could find a toupee.
I said "not off the top of my head"

Looks like you got what you wanted, Merv. I assume he's the first Belgian to win the world championship.
