Apparently personal misconduct or something.

Did any of yez see this?

1. Its a bad idea and
2. Why would anyone want the worst teams that can see fit to withdraw all their internationals for a glorified testimonial?

Not a big fan either, a British and Irish league suggests the Italians are being hung out to dry (and the South Africans too I guess). Would make the Hieneken less special and I guess from an international perspective not sure it would benefit us. The Welsh are desperate to play the English teams more often.

I would say - "if they want to watch English teams, would they just f**k away off and support Bristol"...

but then realised, when you look at the "crowds" watching the Ospreys or the Parc y Empty - then perhaps they've already went off to support Bristol!! :duh:

If the B and I league happens, I reckon there will still be an annual trip or two to Italy by plenty of Ulster fans!

Bring the B&I league on - purely selfish point of view - means being exiled over here in Ingerland I can get to see them more than the odd HC away match. Seriously though. Would be great. South Africans still have Super Rugby and 4N. Italians should strike a deal with FRU to get into Top 14.

10 Celtic teams and the 12 ring fenced English teams for a straight home or away 22 team league, or bring up Newcastle and one other from English championship and ring fence to make 24 teams, 2 conferences home and away with playoffs.

I'd go for two divisions of 12. First year: 6 English, 3 from top home nation (probably Ireland), 2 from second home nation (probably Wales) and 1 Scottish. Division 2: 8 English and the rest of the home nations. From there on, promotion and relegation according to results. Although, I can't see anybody but the Irish being happy with that. After two years could end up with an Anglo-Irish first division.
