Jonathan Pie Back to the Studio on BBC iPlayer. Bloody brilliant. Like watching Baggy rant for 75 minutes (that's a compliment by the way!).

Thought it looked better at the start, got a bit too ridiculous.Still watching it though.
Suspend your disbelief.
There are a few holes in the plot, but it's good stuff.
I'd agree with all of that. Try not to think too much and enjoy.

Out of interest can anyone name a few good watching similar type programmes that have a water tight plot?

I enjoy a crime suspense / thriller.

Yep he's brilliant. I do worry he's going to burst a blood vessel though.

Jackie. I'm currently addicted to Killing Eve on BBC iPlayer. Worth a watch.

Have watched the first couple. Good show, with some dark humour.

I watched the Peter Jackson WW1 documentary last night. It was amazing what he did with the old footage. At times I slipped into thinking I was watching a modern day re-enactment the quality was so good. The backing soundtrack (guns, hum of conversation, laughter) they added to the silent footage was done so well you forgot it wasn't genuine.
And it all worked perfectly alongside the narration that relied heavily on recorded testimony from now long dead WW1 survivors but which could also have been done last week by the sound of them.
Best Great War documentary I've ever seen.

It was very well done. So tragic.

It should be shown in every school in the country, make kids think how lucky they are now and show them also the pointlessness of war.

Sunderland till I die, season one on netflix, it's a fly on the wall look at Sunderland's terrible 2017/18 season.
It's compelling, I binge watchedall eight episodes over two nights.
The chief executive largely comes across as an idiot (morning swim, rolex, range rover, kisses the female staff, nespresso from a glass) but I'm feeling sorry for him by the end.

I love a good sports docu, so I might check it out. It will be interesting from the perspective of a failing team rather than the Rocky-esque, road to glory, we are the champions type thing.
