Currently exploring options 2 days out from the game. Just goes to show what considerations are made of nordi fans are amongst the D4 cabal.
This game has more ulster players than the SA game and will be a better spectacle also.

Lets just say the IRFU Twitter people have had their ears bent so to speak in recent days about the lack of coverage of this game in NI, lets see if they are all talk and no action.

This weekend is apparently too soon for Hendo, McCloskey likely to be in 23 shirt v Boks.
I'd also guess McCloskey will be on the bench. Ringrose has been doing press about his ability to cover wing, Henshaw can cover FB and both Ringrose and Henshaw can play 13 so Ireland can get away with a specialist 12 on the bench. Given the boks size and 6/2 split, Ireland may well want McCloskey's bulk on the pitch - having someone his size is a bit of a halfway house to a 6/2 split as he is the size of many back rows.

Marty is being robbed of a cap by being put on the bench for the A team but my guess is if he puts in a good shift, he might well find himself promoted to the full team for subsequent games.

Sadly rugby is still governed by a cabal of amateur àrseholès both at IRFU and Ulster level. All IRFU and Ulster branch committees should be abolished. A pile of parasites who are only there for the freebies. 99 per cent of them haven't been at a club game in years.

BBC reporting that only Ulster player in starting 15 is RB. Conor Murray is apparently playing so maybe the side should just be called the veterans 15. Pretty nearly lost any interest. Hope it's not on TV

Two big Ireland games in Dublin in one weekend. What a farce. Munster get their fundraiser as-well plus all the U-20 games. Why is there no-one at UR fighting to get an A game up here or an U-20 at least??

Conor Murray playing? :( Not only will we lose but the game will be deadly boring and filled with box kicks.
Rassie must be laughing.

I have a hunch that IRFU fear a controversy over the anthems.

I remember Ireland Italy at Ravenhill in 2007 before the RWC, they just played Ireland's Call, do the same. Just lazy thinking from them putting the game at the RDS (Still no tv coverage for us Nordies).

More than likely farrell wanted to keep both squads together and not have the bother of traveling outside of Dublin and splitting coaches up. That way they can have a captains run today and tomorrow without the hassle of an overnight somewhere else.
Agree it is long overdue for ravenhill to get a standalone A or u20s game.

I'm looking forward to see our LH for next season play. He and Marty will form a juicy front row.

But was there not a lot of controversy before the match about Anthems? I seem to remember the diehards being affronted.
Anyway Belfast is too far for the Dublin blazers to travel.
