I think you’re right Neill regarding the three year rule - to count, I believe the oppo has got to come from another Union which, without having the definition to hand, would presumably exclude the Barbarians.

Been told Gregor Townsend will be the new Tigers coach. Dan didn't get it then.

Dan hadn't a hope. I wonder did they say 'don't contact us, we'll contact you' with a straight face?

Dan getting the job was a pretty unlikely rumour.

Townsend is, in some ways, even more unlikely given that he is, to borrow Neill’s phrase, the “anti-Leicester”.

Maybe, after all these years, they’ve decided they want to play a bit more rugby…..

Or maybe it’s horlix.

The MC rumour, with Vern having quit his job already, seems much more likely with FC lined up to take over at Argentina after the World Cup.

Cheika is a good rumour to be fair, Vern could take over in Summer v Cheika who would only start post RWC.

Seems everyone knows what's going except the Tigers fans. club tells us they have been planning this for months, how many I wonder, is it why Ford and Genge decided to go?
