Come on now Russ, everything about our move for, and signing of, Spiers to bring him back from Montpellier was above board, and the club is a better place since his return.

I didn't think Lobb started that many of their big games last season? I know financial mismanagement and club rugby in ulster has often went hand in hand but surely they weren't paying him much/anything.

Doesn't look like a bad player to be fair to them.

They seem to have some strong links to kiwi land what with your boy Bambery a couple of years ago and Dan Soper (current Inst and Banbridge coach) before that.

When I saw that Russ had posted on the provincial forum today I thought to myself, "what's this? Has Russ put aside his hatred of all things Munster and posted a good luck message for tonight's game?" Has he bolox!

I had actually penned a response to Shan saying I hope Munter hump Sorries.

Then got distracted by positive influences over the sheer darkness of Munter and Sorries

It's like Mordor versus Voldemort

reasonably good for the ulster sides yesterday:

BALLYNAHINCH 33 ST. MARY’S COLLEGE 13,
GALWEGIANS 22 BALLYMENA 23,
MALONE 23 UL BOHEMIANS 10,
SHANNON 21 BELFAST HARLEQUINS 26,
Banbridge 3 Blackrock College 3,
Dungannon 35 Seapoint 6,
Armagh 20 Greystones 7,
Queen’s University 23 Cashel 12,
Rainey Old Boys 7 Old Wesley 24,
Thomond 33 City of Derry 6,
Ards 3 Navan 11.

please excuse the excessive use of capitals, copied from the intouch website (home of hyperbole!!!!!!WOW)

Hinch making a good fist of life in div 1 this year, while mena leading the promotion charge. Armagh likely to go up and Queen's lurking near the top, 3 wins in a row. Good result for Bann in light of injury problems. Dungannon with a bonus point win, quite the change of fortunes!

City of Derry finding things tough so far this season, is this the year that Ards become a junior club (about time?) and will instonians pass them on the way back up?

Anyone watch a game yesterday?

Still confused how hinch were allowed to bring in a semi pro, who flew here at his own expense AFTER the deadline , is going to pay for all his own expenses , just gather at the river  . Hinch must have some name in world rugby

Russ , significant difference, Ward was here backpacking apparently. And even if he was not there was no Rule 6.
