Highlanders as 5th seeds will be at home in the semi finals if all 4 NZ sides make it through. Canes are surely a cert at home v the Sharks.

Highlanders will only be at home if the Canes stuff up tomorrow night.

Surely if all 4 NZ sides go through it would be Canes (1) v Crusaders (7) and Highlanders (5) v Chiefs (6)

Well Wellington certainly put on the weather tonight. Haven't been to one that rough since ABs v Ireland in 2008.

Lol they mentioned that Ireland game on sky. Stunning wet weather rugby from the canes. Probably as good as I've seen at this level. Dane Coles looked fekked which is a shame as he's as good as anyone at the minute.

So its Canes (1) v Chiefs (6) and Lions (2) v Highlanders (5) in the semi finals. Highest seed through hosts the final :D

Hard to see past the Canes with home advantage in both semi final and final?. They were very good today.

Yeah Canes looking good although the chiefs will have nothing to lose and will give it a bash. Lions have had that nice rest last week so I think they might beat the highlanders. Semi's should both be competitive.

So semi final line/tv times etc for those interested:

Saturday

8:35am Canes (1) v Chiefs (6)
2pm Lions (2) v Highlanders (5)

Canes game on SS1, Lions on SS4. The highest seeded finalist has home advantage. This means the Chiefs cannot be at home if they make it through as they are bottom seed.
