I have now been made aware of another one. Judging from her C.V. I would expect she is more than familiar with the intricacies of an ironing board.

Was it the same pole he nailed his election poster to?big mervyn wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 8:17 pmHe's a Kenyan married to a Pole. They've got kids in a local primary school. He's standing as an Independent and his main aim seems to be to represent ethnic and other minorities..solidarity wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 7:32 pm I saw an African bloke putting up a poster on a lamp post on Saturday, outside Forestside, with his own picture on it. Might have been with People Before Profit? The name looked possibly Ugandan? Anyone any more information? Maybe if we get more folk from different backgrounds into our politics, we'll get a bit more sense into the discussions!
Any other ethnic minority folk standing?

So the ugliness has started - a picture of Doug Beattie with a noose drawn round his neck. At least reps from all the main parties have spoken publicly against this. Couldn't really do anything else, could they?

I think it was poorly done. They used garden shed blue tinpot rope.

Oh no, wait! They could remove it themselves. Both of them together, because it might be a bit heavy. Lucky the bad boys who did it left it at a convienant height on a park bench. And maybe they could get someone to photograph them doing it, just in case there is any misunderstanding.
