Thank goodness for this reminder. 3 pages in on the match thread and not a mention yet about the quality and delivery speed of the pints on offer. At last this reminder has brought a sense of normality to the thread

Surprised he got a 2 year extension. He's potentially 8th choice backrower next season - I'd expect Vermeulen, timoney, Marcus, jordi, yer man from sarries, Jones, and mccann to be ahead if him. He has about 70 ulster caps I think but has never convinced me.

Wonder what Dan's plan is for him? Maybe use him as an emergency squad lock and backrower

I wondered about that too. I’ve been a fan of Marcus this year and would have liked to see him rewarded with a longer contract.
Maybe they’re dangling a carrot in front of him. Keep up the good work and development and we will offer you a better contract next year. 🤞

Whiplash. Yellow probably fair if you follow the protocol? Starts red and mitigation evident with drop in height. Looked horrific and Gilroy could not have been more willing to take that yellow.

Marty Moore ships a shoulder straight to the head, off for an HIA, play on? Andrew manages to not score when that is almost impossible? Moxham has missed at least 2 tackles and is again running around like a headless chicken. This has a bad feel about it lads.

Mind you gilroy pretty lucky there.
