Personally I'm fed up to the back teeth with the expletive ridden, narcissistic vitriol which drops regularly into what I had understood to be an Ulster Rugby forum.
Can we not just get back to a discussion on Ulster Rugby in a format which is based on intelligent arguments rather than rant and in a style we would feel happy to let our wives, children, grandchildren or friends read without being embarrassed.
We have standards and in recent times have let them drop. Please moderators do your job or at the very least put the vitriolic nonsense into" x rated" topic to enable those of us who want to read the views of others and respond to them can do so freely without a threat of personal abuse loaded with unnecessary swearing.

I know I am sharper than most of you, so sharp that I have to be very careful shaving, but FFFS I will not have idiots using a simple verbal device to make themselves, and maybe another idiot or two, feel as if they have this posting crack sussed, when they don't know their ar$e from a hole in the ground, and passing this bullshite around like a gift to each other.

Over recent weeks I have seen the emergence of several clowns using the following:
XXXXX's post is one of the best and most reflective contributions on here for a while. I agree with much of it.
No fu'cking shyte Sherlock, you agree with it, ergo you consider it worthy. :duh:

This is the UAFC equivalent of "So.......", a meaningless piece of shyte, putrid waffle.

I have to go back exactly 58 years to when my P2 teacher informed, in rather caustic terms, a 5-year-old " that isn't smart and it isn't clever", somewhat age-inappropriate but they were different times.

Harumph.
Houl on there - that would make you only 63. Not the crusty, decrepit, raving oul fart, firmly embedded in pre-history, that your persona on this board would suggest (OK - the raving part could be accurate.)
It's 64 Spiffer, don't be like that clown 49 and assume I was the subject of the teacher's remark. Your description is not comprehensive, you could have wasted a few dozen more descriptors on me, but of course "persona" hits the nail on the head, many "employ" one here. In reality, I'm very nice to the elderly, semi-tolerant of the young, semi-agreeable on occasions howver............. I can smell out a cu'nt from a thousand yards - or just under a kilometre - and 49er is one.

The thing is Spiffer, I may only appear a spritely 64 to you, but I've had to tolerate so much shyte as I cruise through life, that inside, I'm a thousand years old. Such is the burden of the Jesus of Suburbia.

How dare you sir, your use of the word "unnecessary" marks you as an individual of dreadfully poor judgement.

The rest is fine. 100%, +1, indeed it's probably the greatest post written here in many months, perhaps ever. I agree with much of it.

I'm fed up to the front middle and back teeth with "know nothing" individuals shouting the odds as if they were worth listening to. It would drive a man to use inappropriate language ..........and in front of the childer. Personal abuse is best left to a quiet unpopulated area.

Harumph.

Live and let live.

The alternative is the option to block someone if you are not open minded enough to listen to all points of view in spite of how they are delivered.

Serious question, if I block someone will they see a thread I create?

Well, 9 in an ideal world that would work but I will confess, there could be something in what Skiboo says, I have become increasingly irritated over the last twelve months, the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, ably assisted by the FIRFU have fuelled an unprecedented level of disgust, anger and a hitherto unprecedented level of hatred towards the enemies of Ulster Rugby, including, of course, specialist gardener, Terry Shame Slogan.

On sober reflection, I think I might try to tone things down a little .............that's not to say I will tolerate arsefoons or wabs such as have recently proliferated, however, I may think of the childer............ though obviously not like a priest for example, or certain members of the DUP past or present.

What a load of narcissistic horlix.
Groups who agree with the core are fine; groups who agree with each other , but not The Baggy theme, are not fine. They are subjected to genital based abuse as a a mark of Baggys cleverness. Never an argument about the opinion, or an alternative view. Just abuse.
B.your very insightful P2 teacher had you spot on. Only mistake was not to put you in the school incinerator with the rest of the school rubbish.
Would we have missed you?
I want to help you newer guys and reluctant posters as generally from time to time someone invariably does.
:red: I have never knowingly met in person anyone on this forum but you can generally get the best out of it with the following advice.

1. Make your argument water tight if you have something genuine to say. See off the abuse don't be intimidated by it.
1b. Do research look up stuff to back it up opinion and reread it as it even spelling will be pulled up.

2. There are few on here that blindly follow Ulster and Irish rugby. They saw the cracks appearing even during the better days and identified the toxic relationship between us and d4 and our hapless CEO.. Nowhere else called this before us.If you want blind unquestioned support go to Facebook where there is no discernment whatsoever.

3. Have an ability to laugh at yourself.

4. Don't take anything any one else says that seriously. Calling for mods etc just wont wash and is a sign of weakness if you can't see the posters off yourself. Pussy.

5. People on here generally don't admit they are wrong but a key to an argument win is people generally stop posting or change subject.

6 .Baggy and myself have had great rows and wind ups over the years. He is a top boy and I don't think many of us would be on here if it wasn't for the old growler.

7. If you have a genuine problem pm them. You may even find that Russ has a personality that way. Or not.

8.. People may have several on line personas. I myself was a male before I identified as being female on here.

9. Just enjoy it. Who gives a feck?

10. I like you and your minerals. Stick around but drop the scrappy do bit and you'll be fine.

basically every school yard needs a bully and his mates .

One of Fffs I dislike is Harry Hill like attempts at humour .

old man on horse -- here comes Prince Philip to the rescue comment .

cheap unfunny mockery

You'll spot the morons

Thankfully Baggy does not indulge such petty attempts at humour just a full blooded Shakespearean colourful rant with the odd gem of originality .

Load of nonsense, I generally give up posting because at some point you've just got to conclude that you cannot argue with dumb. The only argument if you think you are in one is in your head. It's all up for debate.

Rum is now a mid table level poster. There has been so much dung posted on here this last fortnight and it wasn't even him.

I agree with everyone,
it's the new me,
tra la la,
tra la lee.

I'm going to learn Euskarian, Castillian Spanish is just too simple, besides, although I hate the Catalans I rather like the Basques. It may keep me away from here for a week or two until I master it.
