Re: Dan McFarland
If there is to be a reasonable delay in DF arriving (eg after summer tour), I'd be tempted to stick Anderson in charge of pre-season. Call it a Re-education Camp and get back to some Ulster fundamentals (but without the fun). I previously suggested it would be foolish to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Fck that! Day Zero. Bye bye baby, bathwater, bath, trap 2, the whole feckin shambles.

Logan out.
January is a feckin joke, we've learnt nothing at all from the FOLK shambles.
Still and all, good luck to the fella, he'll bloody need it.

Re: Dan McFarland
Sounds actually sensible BR just bring all the academy lads and main squad in together under Willie for a re-education camp as you call it, draw a line in the sand end of May and start afresh in July with a speech from Willie and if Logan is around the place tell him to feck off with his bullshite speechesBR wrote:If there is to be a reasonable delay in DF arriving (eg after summer tour), I'd be tempted to stick Anderson in charge of pre-season. Re: Dan McFarland
I suspect the SRU will not be holding onto him after their tour.
Former Scotland back-row and current Worcester Warriors Head Coach, Carl Hogg, has been added to the national team coaching set-up on an interim basis.
He will share forwards-coaching duties with McFarland on the 2018 Summer Tour to Canada, USA and Argentina.

What to think?
Number one target? Setting the sights low? Being realistic?
Definitely IRFU choice, they've even used him in IRFU gear in the PR blurb. Kukri won't be pleased lol
On the plus side, at least this time the IRFU seem to be coaxing someone promising into the set-up rather than off-loading someone they wanted rid of.
And he has been associated with teams on the up in the past. Let's hope that continues whenever he actually starts.

No Dave, a DUI isn’t considered as going against the high moral values expected of an Ulster player.
Either of them could replace Shanananananana-nana with no discernible downturn in playing standards.

2 new assistants plus Peel, Dundon and Malone said to be staying?
Or maybe Dan is stamping his feet. And if they're hoking about looking that hopefully rules out rumours of Jared's demise.
