Re: Scarlets v Ulster 24/02
Not even watching on TV mate, it will be ugly, we've no team.
Interestingly, I have been told p has been available the last 2 weeks but not required, wonder will M'Phillips injury change that? Suppose Young Michael Lowry is still hors de combat?
Think I would go Cooney & Admirable (who is not a 10), though I know others who prefer Stewart & Cooney. BUt p & Cooney may be a shout given the general lack of experience ........... and let's be honest, p is due for his bi-annual decent game. I also hope they might have the wit to look at Cairns as a possible winger and emergency 9.
This selection, and subsequent ones whilst injury has decimated the squad, will require the wisdom of Solomon. To that end I have decided to offer my expertise to UR should they need an incisive mind to stop them bungling the issue & selling the feckin' farm.
Just PM me lads.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Could be a long day, what with the international an’ all.
I suppose I could be the only Lionel in Llanelli.

If James Davies plays it’ll be a nightmare. We’ll need more than 20 mins of C Henry to try to slow that breakdown area. We used to be so good at turning over ball, long gone.

Article on UR about Angus Curtis, wonder is he heading to Llanelli ?

He started at 12 for the u20s. It would be great to have a 10/12 playmaker coming through.Rooster wrote:Article on UR about Angus Curtis, wonder is he heading to Llanelli ?

Why not? Pete Nelson will have a torrid time through no fault of his own. Give the kid 15 or 20 minutes at the end.Rooster wrote:Article on UR about Angus Curtis, wonder is he heading to Llanelli ?

Why was Nelson pulled last minute from the Hinch game?
Was he being wrapped in cotton wool because of mcphilips?

Cooney called up to the Ireland squad to cover McGrath's injury. He may still be available for the game from the bench if not selected for the Ireland 23 as per McGrath for Leinster v Edinburgh when Marmion got the nod for the Italy game.
Herring drops out of the squad - elbow injury.

#rugby Ulster have not ruled Johnny McPhillips out of this weekend's PRO4 game at Scarlets...yet. He had suffered a shoulder injury last week against Edinburgh. Rob Herring also not ruled out following elbow injury

#rugby Craig Gilroy is ruled out of Ulster's PRO14 game away to Scarlets on Saturday
