Hond and Jean have 8 matches to ensure they're still playing next season

What are they on a year I wonder. I assume we can't just turf them out without paying them off.

The year before the world cup you will get feck all. Better to wait until after.
Are they not both contracted for next season anyway ?

Nah- I'd rather Rea and O'Hagan got game time ahead of them- better for UR in the long run. I've been delighted that Rea has shown so well and picked ahead of Deysel for matches and I'd hope that continues. There are signs the academy is starting to function well so its a case fo giving the young lads chances and any NIQ has to be brought in to set standards and let the guys learn from, if we have fewer but better quality NIQ's then so be it.

There are certainly some green shoots in the academy, quite a good representation in the U20s tonight, 6 in the 23. Interesting to see young Curtis in there on the bench.

Tommy the Tank Waldrom leaving Exeter at the end of the season, hope we're at least talking to him.

Bryan Habana leaving Toulon in the summer, hope we're at least talking to him, he's only 35 and his knees could be worser. :D

Good job we have Jordi signed from Leinster or they would be sending us another knee rehab job
Josh van der Flier has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a serious knee ligament injury.

Wasn't always the best image for Ulster Rugby when he was here, but you can't fault his commitment to the cause.

I saw a tweet from Neil Best suggesting that. He is the type of guy I think would be very good for us, purely based on my impression of him as a player. No idea how good a coach he might be. I haven't followed his progress at Narbonne.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
