Season Over
What do the coaches need to work on in the off season?
Long one this year with a lot of preseason friendlies between January and September

Re: Season Over
Kiss is targeting 4th in the Pro 14.
Re: Season Over
Third in the group is an improvement on finishing bottom from last year. If we now qualify for the playoffs in the league the season will be a success.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

Peel and Kiss aren't who we need. We've an inexperienced team we don't need inexperienced coaches too.

Re: Season Over
Id like to see us work on the following over the coming weeks
1. Ruck intensity. Being able to quickly resource a ruck is vital. We showed it in patches in the Munster second half
2. Basics of set play. Securing lineout ball. Get competitive sessions in with local clubs and the Academy. People who know the calls jumping against.
3. Defensive systems. Ulster should adopt Ireland's defensive system
4. Basic fitness. Treat this like an extended preseason and work on being the quickest and leanest team in the league

Re: Season Over
When did the season start? A few decent results simply nearly papered over the cracks of what has become a poor season.
I wouldn’t mind so much that we have gone back to the days of old in terms of a poor rudderless team, if only we could have the old stadium and the old atmosphere back

Re: Season Over
Give the youngsters a chance. Lyttle, mcphillips, rea and timoney deserve a run till the end of the season. The kiss experiment has failed and the longer he stays the longer it will take to get over.

Never wrestle with a pig. You end up covered in muck and the pig loves it.
Re: Season Over
It was ridiculous how many rucks had no support and then Wasps got turnover ball. Then you see the forwards in the defensive line looking punctured. The fitness levels are a concern.Russ wrote:Id like to see us work on the following over the coming weeks

We need to sort out pretty much all the things we said we needed to sort out before this season.
