I'll be supporting Argentina in June.
So the best 3 teams in the world will not be there, weesins, the Romans & the Real Romans.

Re: ROI
So 4 matches were played and Ussuns were the only ones to score a goal?
ROI are as poor a team as I can remember them putting on the field, they struggle with a goalscorer just as bad as NI.
In truth their goal cam too early for them, they crapped themselves, didnt know whether to defend it out or look for a second.
Shame they couldn't make it though, they usually provide a good bit of interest at WCs. The whole coverage will now be complete Lionelvision and will ensure I probably won't watch a single match

Re: ROI
I have no interest in the Wendyball World Cup, I loathe France, following my great hero Peter Clohessy with whom I only slightly disagree. Claw said: I hate France, I hate the country, I hate their people & I hate their food".
Ironically it seems Claw now holidays in France and allows the food is tasty enough, seems I may be in agreement with him after all & further I've say, the people outside Paris are a decent enough crowd, I certainly don't hate the good rugby people of Clermont, Biarritz, Bourgoin & I'm sure many more.
Not fond of Parisians mind you, I'd prefer New Yorkers.

Yerra I can't be bothered with grudges. It would annoy the English soccer fraternity if France won another world cup and that would please me.BaggyTrousers wrote:You've got over this pretty quickly then.Shan wrote:Ah no.Cap'n Grumpy wrote:At least your first team are in the draw for Russia, Shan.Shan wrote:Well that's now definitely the end. England for rugby. Almost anyone else for soccer. Only teams I'd go for England against in soccer would be the middle east countries, including Israel, and Wales.
