Strange to relate, a high-profile Irish rugby player was recently removed from a dressing room for being in a state of extreme intoxication. Stranger still, it wasn’t his own dressing room. It wasn’t his own sport. Said player wandered into the Australian cricketers’ den during their game against Leicestershire and was apparently reluctant to leave. Perhaps we should mention he was on a stag weekend. But no names, no pack drill.
