Superstar supporters

Post by Leonidas »

I read in an article yesterday by Ivan Little in the Tele that he spoke to three times acadamy award winner Daniel Day Lewis in a bar before the Ulster-Colomiers European final at Lansdowne. This got me wondering if we have Famous closet supporters/appreciators out there that we don't know about. So other than Daniel Day Lewis, Rory McIlroy and a host of Nordie politicians who is the most famous person you have seen at Ravenhill or otherwise supporting the Whites?

Declan Kidney, oh I once saw Matthew Brodrick in the Sleamish Inn before I went to a Ballymena- Ards game, I wonder if that makes him a Ballymena fan :?

Thin Lizzy were at one of the pre season matches, Gary Lightbody also spotted at Ravenhill.

Surely Liam Neeson is a fan

Failing that, Barra Best is next in line

Nah Kofi, Matt is a well known "Hard Ard" man. I have it from them that know.

By the way had assumed that this was an ill-founded attempt to start a Keet Earlsie Appreciation Society, thank Christ for small mercies is only another unnecessary people spotting thread.

Michael Hoey and Graeme McDowell are big fans too
You've got to get your first tackle in early, even if it's late.

Jackie Fulerton turned up once but spent all 80 minutes shouting 'handball ref' and he was actually shaken by the noise ... he likes his peace and quite at Irish League games.
