He'd never fit in - their is no drinking culture at Ulster
I'm sure he could recruit a few old boys and fix that, he could spin it as bringing in "experience" to help the younger boys ...

Think Johnno was just a bit too inexperienced for the role, a bit like McCall when he was Ulster coach. Also people like Tindall let him down which I'm sure was disappointing for him. I think he will learn from the experience and I would still expect Johnno will be a great coach in the future. Not sure how he would handle Ulster's jobs for the boys culture, but I really would favour an outsider as our next coach, would still like someone from New Zealand just like what I wanted when McGlocks got the job.

Why? Should we not be playing well and winning matches before Christmas?
Why???? well after Christmas we will know if we're still in with a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the HC and how we will have fared against Munster and Leinster and also will we be in danger of not qualifying for next years HC, if the answer is in the negative then UR need to be looking for a new coaching set up otherwise we could lose players like Ruan, Ferris, Trimble, Cave, Best etc........

Drop iHumph and start Jackson between Pienaar and Spence next week and tell them to just play a their natural game.

As for our next coach I think it should be former Canterbury and current NZ U20 coach Rob Penny, I've always said this, his record of developing young talent for the Crusaders is 2nd to none and he has won countless air NZ cups with a less talented squad than Wellington and Auckland. How he hasn't got a super 14 job beggars beleive/

GamePlan is a 2001 play by British playwright Alan Ayckbourn. I suspect some at UR have never seen it.

Nah that's the RFU guide to playing rugby and management of a national side

We have already lost 5 games this season and still haven't played either Munster and Leinster, so a top 4 in my opinion is beyond us and anything less than 10 points against Aironi will see us struggle to get out of a difficult HC group. With the amount of investment in the team what should/would save the coaching set up?

If our attack improves and we only lose games because we were simply outplayed by the opposition - that'll save doak

If we win all our remaining home games and lose away to :mexican: , >TH and cardiff then that could save mcglocks, but i think his time is up already

Time to spend some money on coaches, not players IMO
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

Think it's up to the players now to rescue the coaches, the failed kicks, spilt balls, forward passes, missed tackles etc are not the coaches fault, but coaches get sacked for poor performances, players just get sent to Connacht :duck:

The coaching staff are not good enough to take a professional team any further. The selection policy beggars belief at times.
I would retain the ever expanding Doak to replace Sparkie next season
