Interesting as first time in years that unleaded has been cheaper in NI than ROI, diesel still cheaper south of border though

Had crept up in most places in the last 3 months to about 120/121p but good to see that at Applegreen on the M2 today it was down to 117.8p. Further reports will follow.

Had crept up in recent weeks to almost 130p per litre but this morning in Sainsburys (Ballymena) it was 122.9 and I filled up with my 12p off a litre voucher that = a net 110.9. Not bad. Should get me to Donegal and back this weekend.

Mike, I am filling up at €1.149 for Gazole Plus that's high-grade diesel to you, my Toyota would smoke like a Ganga addict it I use the ordinary. Thanks to that disastrous ould hag Mrs May & her shambolic set of disparate clowns masquerading as a government, the exchange rate is such that my costs equate to more than one of Betty's pound notes, but still hammers your 4**** by a substantial amount.

If you're passing, it's the big pink station just to the San Javier side of Dos Mares. If you pass the McDonalds Drive through, you've missed it. :thumleft: Petrol substantially dearer.

By the way, Mike, be careful. If you combined this thread and the "Olympic torch mate" thread, you could raise yourself to the ground. >EW

Still outrageously expensive for those of us who usually buy in Spain. The French riots are understandable, I almost rioted myself at the prices there. Andorra which I drove through on the way up is a peach of a place to fill the tank.
