Slightly embarrassing, as Tim Wheeler's ma was my French teacher and his older brother was a few years ahead of me at school.

The Grand Parade by The Frank and Walters is this week's album of choice ahead of their shows at Kings Cross Water Rats on Friday and Saturday.

Still a few tickets left for Friday I believe. Saturday should be a good one, with the rugby at 5.30 first.

BR@1 is pissing herself laughing at an audience of balding, middle-aged men in t-shirts moving their heads gently to-and-fro, carefully trying to avoid bringing on any further symptoms of dementia.

Watching that now. Still good musically but you sure miss the edge that Lord and Blackmore brought. Could do without the inane interview.

Think I spotted 3 weemin in that crowd.

Big brother George who died last month would have produced Let there be Rock.

Feck! They're going thick and fast this year.

remember seeing them at the Ulster Hall in the 70's they just blew everyone away.. Never fully bought into Johnston it was always Bon nScott for me. I hope Angus hangs the guitar up it ain't DC without that original rhythm section.
