I'll quite happily discuss the aesthetic qualities of TG presenters (and cars of course, too) with anyone willing to listen :)

The Wildhearts self titled album.
Manic Street Preachers - Send away the tigers album
Therapy? - Music through a cheap transistor, the BBC Sessions.

Now I'd disagree, The Wildies new album is completely different than earth vs... (which I think is slightly over-rated... SLIGHTLY)...
Ginger wrote the lyrics while completely clean, and remember, they got a new bassist, Scott Sorry.
While the lyrics aren't as good as they were, the album is being consantly played by me, and some of the weakest track, IMHO, She's All That is awesome!
The Wildhearts have been going through phases of breaking up and reforming, but, hopefully, with them all clean, Ritch back on drums and Scott Sorry joining they will be a stable band, and they should be a lot more popular than they are now.

Good taste, Freddie! ;)

not disagreeing colzo

for me a 'good' wildhearts album means it's better than nearly everything else out there. The new one is growing on me and I like it a lot but 'earth vs.........' was one of the best 3 albums of the 90s.
There's a bit more depth to the new one than 'the ws must be destroyed' but that lp had some tunes with classic hooks like 'where's my elvis' and 'top of the world'.

Top of the World is an awesome song.
I'm relatively new to the Wildies, so only got 2 Studio albums, a live DVD and a live CD (Strike back). It's very hard to find Wildhearts CD's in Belfast music shops and I hate downloads with a passion.
I have heard a lot of P.H.U.Q. and it's amazing!

Heard one song of Endless Nameless, and not too fond of it. Although apparently the more you listen to the album the more you appreciate it!
The new album is definitely a grower, although Bi-Polar Baby was my fav song on my first listen! Really should be on Kerrap! instead of My Chemical Romance.

endless nameless does sound like a lot of white noise when you first listen to it, but deep down ginger's great melodies are still there.
Speaking of which Ginger's solo stuff is also top notch.
