Don’t forget it’s a double header apparently with Ulster A playing an unnamed opponentjustinr73 wrote:The 18 August glorified training session.
Frampton’s opponent is relatively unknown, but Paddy Barnes is fighting for a World Title.

Wee spides inflicting brain damage on each other for entertainment.
In a civilized country it would be banned.

Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Could be a long day.
I'm no stranger to attending live 'sport' but this punching stuff will be a new one on me.
Not sure what to expect from Fury's travelling army but I hope they don't end up on the other side of the Lisburn Road by mistake........

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

They intimidate and bully wherever they go.
This is one time I really want the supoosed wrong element in our country to turn up and show them what proper intimidation is.
If that happens I'm sure Fury will be the first to be aggrieved about crowd trouble which he has turned a blind eye to when his bunch of thugs are the aggressors.
Re: Pugilism
In fairness the fight in the crowd in his last "fight" was better than the nonsense in the ring. I'm sure that the local GAWAs will make them feel welcome.Liz Fraser wrote:Furys bunch of "travellers" are serious stars.justinr73 wrote:Could be a long day.

Re: Pugilism
Yes I wasn't overjoyed when Fury appeared on the card.
I will be out of my orthopedic boot by then but still not up to top speed.
Went to a bullfight in the Costa Brava Baggy - have read Death in the Afternoon and what have you.
In footballing terms, it was a bit like watching Yeovil v Stevenage in League 2 with all the associated (lack of) glamour.
Not quite a goalless draw but more like a scrappy one nil to the bullfighter.
I didn't enjoy it but i ate steak afterwards nonetheless.
These days, i readily sing along to the Morrissey song below but largely because it has got a nice tune:
"The Bullfighter Dies"
Mad in Madrid
Ill in Seville
Lonely in Barcelona
Then someone told you and you cheer
Hooray, hooray
The bullfighter dies
Hooray, hooray
The bullfighter dies
And nobody cries
Nobody cries
Because we all want the bull to survive
Gaga in Málaga
No mercy in Murcia
Mental in Valencia
Then someone tells you and you cheer
Hooray, hooray
The bullfighter dies
Hooray, hooray
The bullfighter dies
And nobody cries
Nobody cries
Because we all want the bull to survive

Re: Pugilism
So Ulster A are playing Frampton's opponent at Ravers before he goes to Windsor to play Frampton?Neill_M wrote:Don’t forget it’s a double header apparently with Ulster A playing an unnamed opponent
Frampton’s opponent is relatively unknown, ...
Do the HIA regs apply at Windsor as well as Ravers?
Wot if he gets concussed at ravers? Will he still be going to Windsor?
I'm not arguing -

In which case Liz, let's hope the scumbag gets what Rock Hudson & Frank Bruno took before him, a queer bashing in the ring, the homophopic gobshite.Liz Fraser wrote:Furys bunch of "travellers" are serious stars.justinr73 wrote:Could be a long day.
