Well it looked like the game of the group stages on paper......

Plenty of Portuguese in my neck of the woods working for Ryanair so I reckon it’s pretty lively out tonight.

The quality on show and two teams trying to score helped the situation.

I heard cheering from a few houses away and remembered the game, it was Spain's first equaliser. Watched the rest of it and for fitba it was a hell of a game, have to admit I enjoyed it.

Best mate arriving tomorrow morning for a few days so I'll see a fair few games, I hope there are a few more like it.

Aye, when sides “park the bus” and go for a draw, very boring.

I wish I had a tenner for all the games I’ve been to that weren’t as good!

Would be a small contribution to the cost of attending them!

51 hattricks for Ronaldo. Incredible really.

Second best footballer to Sir Tom Finney

Spain 3 Ronaldo 3.

Ronaldo may be a bit of a pain at times but he is top class.

Overall it was a brilliant game with great football. Hopefully we'll get more games of that standard in this tournament.

It was a cracking game. The tournament had been trash up to that point.

Ronaldo scored a fantastic free kick. A penalty as standard and a goal that should never have beaten de Gea. I suppose de Gea will be claiming concussion now.

I thought Spain were magnificent at times.

Don't forget the stunning Spanish third.
That was sweet.
Favourite moment though was the objectionable Pepes hystrionics going unrewarded when Costa brushed him off for the first goal.
Great officialdom but unfortunately the likes of Pepe and Ramos have had a career of getting away with such antics.
All in all football at it's best.
