Indeed, fever pitch here............................. or maybe not .....................yet, there is the occasional fleg, "la Rojigualda" to you feckers, a load of merchandise in the shaps but no sense of anything much.

You probably all know that rather like Wales with England, Portugal was once just a small part of Spain. I would expect us to snatter them.

If anyone thinks UR are mad bastids for sacking coaches quite often look the Spaniards! Sacking a guy with a 100% record on the eve of the World Cup. Albeit they felt they had good reason, but my goodness that's a massively risky decision.

It's one of those ones only time will tell.
Chelsea sack managers regularly yet maintain success when everyone else says it's a bad idea to do that.
Possibly the exception.

Saw a programme about when Ron Saunders walked out of Aston Villa in the February of 1982 yet they went on to win the European Cup when assistant Tony Barton took over.
The key was that the new manager doesn't change much or try to impose himself as it's too late for that and the ground work has been done.
The players should be professional enough to get on with matters and with strong characters like Iniesta and Ramos around they should ensure that happens.
If they can do that Spain should be fine. though obviously the situation is far from ideal.

Hopefully Spain will beat Portugal.

Overall would like to see France win.
