Glad that Germany won. They deserved it for their second half endeavours and that goal was class.

Amazing goal from Kroos.
I paused it at a point that it was virtually inconceivable how he could have bent it around Larsson from that angle.
Haven't really enjoyed a tournament since France 98 but I think this tournament already has thrown up better moments than the rest since then combined.
Think VAR is helping though it's not perfect, I like the speed in which it's dealt with.
That's all important to me in the interest of the flow of the game and something rugby union could learn from.
The officials also are not buying into diving either which has blighted previous world cups.
Also nice to see attack minded philosphies being rewarded and the teams who try to dig in and park the bus being punished.
I think all this is allowing the cream to rise to the top and the best players ( notably Messi excepted so far) are delivering the goods and proving their quality to be the difference in each game.
Hope this continues to be the case as the tournament should be a celebration of football to be marvelled at and not a negative cheat fest which it had become

Now I don't normally support England in association football but they are ripping Panama to shreds and I am delighted to see it as Panama are extremely annoying with all the ballix they are going on with. It is five nil now and I wouldn't mind seeing England getting another five.

Well 6-1 in the end. Harry Kane now the top scorer.

Should be a good encounter. It's basically a knock out.

Fantastic to see the Lionels thump the people who did not build a canal & did not invent the hat. It must now be building to a high state of confidence amongst those from Lionel Central, preparing them nicely to become suicidal at their certain & inevitable demise, piling on 4 more years to the existing 48 years of hurt.
Indeed if the Seppos & the Brits were not so keen on having a route through the Americas for shipping, Panama would probably still be part of Colombia.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

FFS Poland are hopeless. Good play from Colombia when they decide to bother staying on their feet. Hard to see Poland getting back into this but hoping they can manage to do something.
