Bake Off can't be lumped in with tom kite like X Factor which picks on vulnerable/ stupid people. GBBO is nicer and the Mel and Sue combination just works. I like it.

Maybe if we had just one big bake off X factor dance in the jungle on ice contest we could get all these wanna be superheroes in one place and with the assistance of some Semtex and a guy in a hard hat with a detonator, called Dave - raise the IQ of the human species by at least 20 points ... we could raise it by a further 10 points if we could send out some kind of force field from the TV screen to render all the brain dead disciples of this havers small green globules on a Sofa that could be swept up and forgotten about.
