Nice buzz about the place upstairs on Saturday night.

Enjoyable evening. Liked the way they had local goat on the menu.

Not convinced by the Asian twist they try and give to many of the dishes.

Just the goat local ?

Well done to The Raj on Lisburn Road on Friday night.

Our plane was late and the Bombay Brasserie, where we'd booked a table, were less than helpful when we called them from the airport.

No such problems with The Raj. A tasty curry and friendly service. We'll be back.

Good service in Neill's Hill on Saturday night too. And they had samphire which I could happily live on (for a day or two).

Ah now Justin come on, it's not the fault of the Bombay Brasserie your plane was delayed.

Nice dinner at the French Village on the Lisburn Road on Saturday night.

Crab and eel, followed by the pork belly.

Wandered into town afterwards and stuck our heads in the door at Benedicts.

Sodom and Gomorrah sprung to mind.

Took us a few hours over the road to get over it.

Well done on getting over it, many don't. Apart from a few different beers to sample in Woodworkers (Laverys), I'm not sure there's anywhere worth darkening the door of on the golden mile any more.

Yes, the relative sophistication of Woodworkers provided some solace.

We had to pay to go upstairs eventually as we were still thirsty.

It was my mate's Belfast debut and he left with the impression that the city has a significant female to male ratio imbalance.

Hen do season was certainly in full swing!
