Have so far been to Mourne Seafood, Made in Belfast, Stix and Stones, James Street South, Molly's Yard, Hadskis, Salt, the Red Panda (several times...) and Boojum obviously.

All good apart from Hadskis.

Any other recommendations now that we're about to get some bricks and mortar in BT9? Eipic booked for when we get the keys at the end of the month.

If you like your steaks The Morning Star is hard to beat.

Maybe not as trendy or 'in' as some of the other places named above but best steaks in Belfast I reckon.

The Morning Star looks like a fine establishment.

I've been up Joy's Entry for comedy value (I had a secretary called Joy for 10 years..) but I've not been up Pottingers. I shall pay it a visit for sure.

Shu is excellent.

Justin,I'm surprised by you saying Hadskis wasn't good. It's up there as my favourite.

I would recommend Ox.

Loving this thread - don't know Belfast restaurants at all, so many to try now!

My mates are obsessed with that Boojum, they'll drive up for burritos or whatever it is they do every 2 or 3 weeks.

Boojum isn't much of a restaurant but more of a fast food place, but it is pretty good.

If I can see past the steak & pint deal in the big house - recent places of note are Tedfords Kitchen for good reason and Red Panda for bad reason.
