The Tunnel is excellent

Would recommend the bridge if u can get it. It's the Scandinavian series that sky shamelessly ripped off for the tunnel Image.

The Bridge and The killing are excellent as is the Icelandic drama ,' Trapped'.

Also liked the first series of Borgen , but didnt think the later series was as good.

Moving to 'Southern climes', I like 'Inspector Montalbano' which is set in Sicily...plots nowhere near as intricate as Nordic Noir stuff but still a good wheeze.

The Bridge and The Killing are both excellent. The final season of the Bridge will be on BBC2 later in the year (no date announced yet). Borgen was good also, who would have thought Danish politics was so interesting. It did tail off a bit in the last Season (no3).

Wallander was a very good detective series set in Southern Sweden also. The current Walter Presents show - Rebecka Martinsson on More 4, set in snowy Northern Sweden has potential.

Not a huge fan of 'Inspector Montalbano', any time I have watched it - surprised he gets any police work done, either having long lunches or multiple cups of coffee!

The Phantom Menace was not a good film when it was released! The Prequels were just ok in general, let down by some very wooden acting.

George Lucas ruined his own creation with Jar Jar fcuking Binks. Although I like the theories on him being an evil sith lord.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?

The prequels were more CGI than content. Of them all, the first is by far the best.

Not for me. Mrs BM likes all that stuff so I get dragged along. The first 3 are by far the best. The next 3 are dire and the latest ones are basically an inferior remake of the first 3.
I'm sure some here may disagree with that synopsis :D

That's not far off the mark :D

Of the latest ones, Rogue One is probably the best. The West Coast of Ireland (Kerry etc) does look stunning in the new ones.
