Just thought in the interests of "balance" there should be at least one other footy thread here.
For starters, thought we could start with a club close to the heart of the auther of the other thread.
Any other clubs deserving of their own thread?
Who will get us started on Liverpool FC (or to give them their full title Liverpool Fat Chance!)?

Dear auld Rafa says that Hodgson "can't find a priest in a mountain of sugar". I assume in Spanish that actually might mean something, but not sure I really understand.
Anyway, why would I want to find a priest? Far too busy for sex today

He was misquoted - he was actually asked for an example of how he did a team talk .... "[insert name of opponent] can't find a priest in a mountain of sugar" ..... now you understand the liverpool tactics during his tenure - or lack of!

Have a mate in Spain who is a devotee & he told me he is praying LFC get hammered by Utd at the weekend because that might be the unacceptable straw that breaks the camel's back & gets poor Woy the sack.
In many ways I wesented Woy being appointed because I have always detested LFC but think old Woy is too nice a man to hate - what a dilemma, so for me it would be a gweat welief to get someone in I could dislike (not MO'N of course) - bwing back Wafa, "The Fat Spanish Waiter"

Prepare for 1.30pm Sunday 9th January 2011 - roll on. Watch this space.
Will you remember where you were that infamous day?
Will Martin L. King's grandson be there?

Adios Roy - hello Mr Dalglish.....interesting appointment - begs the question, was Roy a bad manager - or were the materials he had to work with over-rated, over-paid and over-wrought with the whole "we're brilliant us, Liverpool, top team, tradition, too good to go down, history, everyone loves us, we won trophies once, everythings against us, fact" schtick?

Poor old Woy, he never stood a chance with the pea-brained Scousers.

My constant desire is to see these ckeeky chappies humiliated & have traditionally hated their managers, except for my hero Souness who wrecked the club and especially the FSW - Rafa. In Woy's case I could never find it in my heart to hate him, he is far too decent a man by all accounts not to mention a successful manager.
First he had -

He had no money to improve the pathetic playing squad and finally he had a pillock who by rights should be serving time for being a bar-room brawling bully

who appears to be bigger than the club - certainly the managers, and plays well when he can occasionally be bothered.
It mightn't seem like it but Woy but, son you are better out of that hole.
