Summer Tests - Not Ireland

Post by UlsterNo9 »

New Zealand 8 France 8 - 32 minutes

If France could be anymore than terrible they could be infront.

Possession rugby the key to beating the All Blacks.

New Zealand 8 France 11 - 36 minutes

Parra slots a penalty from a metre inside his own half. No issue with distance.

38 - mins

All Blacks turn down easy three points to tie the game up and go for the corner, France concede another penalty from which All Blacks go quick. France hold All Blacks up over the line.

Massive swing shift. All Blacks should have taken the points and tied it up.

Half Time
New Zealand 8 France 11

You do feel the inevitable is going to happen, All Blacks look extremely dangerous in attack. Having said that I don't think the French can be as poor in the second half.

New Zealand 11 France 11 - 50 minutes

France conceding penalties at scrum time and losing their own lineout ball.

Gabrillagues now in the bin for ten minutes, wrongly so in my opinion, for an alleged high tackle that he made contact with the ball first and foremost. Poor decision by the referee who didn't use the technology available to him.

New Zealand 18 France 11 - 53 minutes

France pay the penalty for a man in the bin. Codie Taylor scores out wide after a grubber kick through.

New Zealand 25 France 11 - 57 minutes

All Blacks score another with the French a man down in the bin.

France continue to kick to relieve pressure, it's just giving the All Blacks posession which is providing them opportunities.

All Blacks average when they don't have the ball.

Poor refereeing once again sees two All Blacks escape yellow.

Sam Cane clearly connects with a swinging arm on Grossos chin, as Grosso goes down he receives a head on head no arms tackle.

Both much worse than the French yellow.

Very costly 10 mins for France there with the 14 men. Game over.

New Zealand 40 France 11 - 68 minutes

The inevitable is now in full pomp.

Barrett 4 from 8 from the tee. Not a test level kicker.

Feel for the French, a non yellow then Cane lucky to not see red for a swinging arm to the chin of Grosso. A massive momentum swing which the French mindset did not take well.

Five tries from the All Blacks in 12 minutes.

And that is exactly how the NZ won a game that looks like a demolition. They may have won anyway but one terrible decision ended the game as a contest, just as the final try was another travesty.

Let's remember that, when on day release from school, Pearce was the dumb Lionelfuckwit who sent off Tom Court in his last game at Ravenhill, yet failed to red card Bob for an horrendous attempt to decapitate Paddy Jackson, nor even change the decision from a try to penalty try. Warren Gatland.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

At least one of the touring nations managed to keep their run going, four in a row :D

And to think I nearly turned it off when SA went three scores behind in the first half.
