Rugby Championship 2017

Post by Joe Schmo »

Surely someone's watching this, I missed last weeks matches but todays NZ v Aus is a cracker. I thought Australia had it in the bag with less than 3 min to go but NZ have just scored.

5 tries each. Foley's kicking blew it for the Wallabies. 33% 2/6.

And yet again, Nigel is in the middle for an excellent game of rugby.

He was blowing a bit at times, but fair play to him. :thumleft:

Ah, that's the game I love - absolute cracker. Great to see Ozzie playing with invention and plenty of quality thrown in. Thought Nige was slightly harsh on Ozzie times and had a wobbley moment when he awarded NZ a try and then back-tracked all over the place - not his usual composed self but nevertheless facilitated an attacking game as always. I suspect SA should also be half decent this year.

Blacks look as if they will not be sweeping all before them for a while... not a bad thing for them because they showed they still have that mentality that they may have otherwise lost with whitewash win year in year out...

Also looks like they will be bedding in a few new players who will only get better and better...

Fantasic game.

South Africa seem to be improving, but hard to judge as they have played their 2 games v Argentina.

I think Argentina may need to change their policy re picking guys playing in Europe etc.

Fine for NZ when they have 5 sides, Argentina have 1.

Argentina had a chance last night. 4 points up against 14 men into the 2nd half and they really needed to go for the jugular. Fifita had a big game at 6 for NZ and looks like one for the future.

Didn't see the other game which ended 23-23 between Oz and SA.

Sometimes NZ click and when they do they are irresistible. Tonight was one of those nights and for 80 minutes is was high intensity, accurate and deadly. 57-0 against one of the best sides in the world. Ricko Ioane seems to have the world at his feet at the minute whilst players like Dane Coles and Milne Skudder are finally finding a bit of form. Total rugby.

First few tries are rugby porn.

Nice bit of filth for tries 3 and 4. McKenzie finally finding some form in the black shirt. Argentina came back well in the second half but don't seem to have a gameplan they believe in at the moment. One round to go.
