Re: Summer Tours
That is how the IRFU strengthened our back row and took the pish out of us in one swoop.. by making Reidy an international we suddenly had and all international Irish back row allowing for Rodgers one cap and Henry going backwards in getting near an Irish team again.Rooster wrote:And now we will have 2 International 9 's so we can't complain about that along with an International second row and numerous International wingersGerald the Mole wrote:Reidys cap was to feck us over and stop UR bitching for back row player, feck your all blinkered
Now we have Cooney who will arrive here to start the new season with one cap under his belt and hey presto we have an international 9 to shut us up.

Finally someone posted a comment I can agree with.222toHounslow wrote:The less players the better. Hope the Japs rip them one.

We should make a good start to next year with all the Lions and Irish players rested for 3 months or whatever they come up with but probably one before the SDC and then off for the Autumn Internationals.. I fully expect all our international stars to get another 6 outings next year..

Decent enough squad with a view to the future.

Gilroy's omission is the product of his being gash for a season and a half.rumncoke wrote:Gilroy 's omission is the product of a back line that has denied space to the wings running latterly .

Re: Summer Tours
My attitude to the summer tour can be encapsulated in three small pictures, I give you the no fuc'ks given tour 2017:
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
Re: Summer Tours
You don't score 3 tries in an International being gash !! What it confirms that wings can't score without space or the ball !!
I have omitted his defensive short comings - which are really not much worse than those of other wings available .
And those who complain about Gilroy because they think he has lost his attacking edge but then that is equally true of Trimble and Bowe and nobody is saying either of them have been gash .
