I then seen the new job advertised and months later I asked did he get it and of course he said he had.. turns out he didn't even sit an interview which must have been annoying for those others that applied..
Surely, that's illegal in NI?
YES.... but if none of those that applied know what happened they won't have raised any issues.. even then fair employment seems to centre on discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, disability, sexual orientation and age amongst other things and doesn't seem to account for a blatantly corrupt process. There is clearly something fundamentally wrong with an organisation that operates in this manner but little can be done.

Your point is well-made Cockers, but I have pledged only to worry about dodgy employment practices in sporting circles just as soon as we exercise the ghost of NI morality that died with the paying of terrorists to just deal drugs, rather than killing people, personally approved by the fawning leader of the biggest party in the country, Mrs Facist, friend of certain North Down Defenders.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Ireland guilty of playing too much rugby in their own half. Dominant lineout but no intention of kicking the ball out.

Anyone else think there was an issue with Ossie try to make it 10-7.

Didn't look like the try scorer came through the gate or pick from a legal position?

Ashleigh Baxter at 6.Is Rumn on the coaching team?

Can't make the Weeman's finals but might nip down to watch the semis. I take it Ireland are guaranteed a Ravenhill slot regardless of qualifying position?

Baxter used to play wing didn't she? Tackled her heart out but a little lightweight I thought for 6.

That was my thoughts as well jean, a wee light thing but I can tell you she is damned strong, held a tackle bag one night and she hit it and definitely she is a pretty powerful wee thing.

Ireland's 2nd game v Japan today (5:15pm ko).

No coverage listed for any games today on ITV4, touring cars instead.

Hopefully RTE2 will be available via Sky.
