Rat b'stard Hartley at it again!

Horrible Hartley cited for a headbutt last week on Jamie George and may miss the World Cup if citing is upheld.
He will be sorely missed if so. >seeya

I commented on another thread about this but I reckon he'll be cleared as England can't do without him.

It was different with Tuilagi as he's not been playing for the best part of a year.

They will back down and allow the thug to play in the World Cup, he is a disgrace.

Can't understand why they keep picking the likes of him and Haskell.
Come the big game their indiscipline has consistently let the sides they represent down.
Haskells trip arguably cost England the championship, Hartleys red cost the premiership amongst other incidents.
Woodward would not have stood for that but they undoubtedly will be Lancasters achilles if he continues to select them.

Just saw the footage

Maul collapses, Hartley swings an arm towards his own player then turns around screams feck off and throws his head glasgee style into the Sorrie. Who to his credit takes it well

Needless to say, DJMinto has commissioned a snapchat report exonerating all of glasgee from all glasgee kisses

Search for hartley headbutt on youtube.
First result

Coincidentally every red card video linked relates in some way to Northampton

How many different angles were there? Could prove to be of vital importance!

To me it looks like he overbalanced slightly heading back from the maul (remember how tired he must have been after such effort), probably due to uneven grass, when a Sorry teleported himself into his path mid-blink.

He def made head-on-head contact. One of those hard man footballer leading with the head with a straight body efforts. Not really a full on wound up Glesga Kiss.

But with previous he will prob get few weeks. Especially since his oponent didn't "do a Matawalu" and the panel only seem to be interested in outcome rather than intent. Matawalu may have required neurosurgery.

Having worked in Northampton for a year, I can confirm that the choice of 'tailors' is pretty limited. They'd have sorted him out with a nice pair of brogues, though.

What are the odds that any ban he gets will expire before September 18th? :stir:
