I for one never belittle a Welsh team they have a habit of being collectively better than the sum of the parts.

Cardiff were under achievers last year I think this year they could be a surprise if those young players come good. But the first 4 - 5 matches will be vital for them.

The Ospreys have signed Fijian versatile back Aisea Natoga ahead of the 2012-13 season.

Agreed Jackie, never got a fair run of games here, with playing regularly he has proved what a good player he is, another one that got away, delighted for Willie top bloke on and off the pitch....

Willie is a player with talent, but was his Ulster departure not related to off-field in-bar activities? I don't know but that's what I was told.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Ian Evans' departure to Toulon on a three-year deal has been confirmed today. Last one out turn off the lights in the Millennium Stadium...

They are welcome to have him, does not fit The Ulster Way profile anyway.

Will the Welsh jump or won't they? I think the English clubs will drop them afterwards as quick as the French clubs dropped the English but at least tonight/tomorrow we should know how deep the doodoo is. Preference would be for the English to rejoin the HEC but the four hardheads are unlikely to swallow that much pie; they've dug too deep a hole.
From the rolling glens of Antrim through the hills of Donegal we will stand and shout for Ulster as we win both scrum and maul from the lovely lakes of Fermanagh tae the shores of ould Lough Gall we will scream and shout for Ulster as we beat them one and all!
