Clive Ross and Timoney should not be in the same sentence. Timoney will be a fantastic player.
Timoney certainly has the look of a guy who could be very good. His main issue will be the strength of those around him possibly dragging him down. Ulster could really do with going on a shopping trip to Dublin.

Anyway, not the best game of all time but Leinster should be happy with a draw, even if they coughed up the win in the dying seconds.

Best he gets his skates on because he ain't a patch on Beirne currently.

We could do with getting Jordi and Marcel playing along side him.

Totally different kind of player.
Younger too.

Timoney is an academy player learning his trade while starting for a poor side. Beirne is one the best forwards in the league.

WHAT! An academy player, sure we are not producing any

Indeed. That could be a very good and very effective backrow.

So if Beirne is older and one of the best players in the league, why is he playing for the Scarlets and not us being my original point.
Timoney could be learning his trade there.
No matter what way you odds it I'd take Beirne.
The exact sort of player we need.
