Not many of our other forwards give a feck. Cross seems to give it all when askef to

Apparently he always gets the beers in too.
Just the problem with the entire set up here in a nutshell.
Acceptance and even praise of below average standards
.
This isn't necessarily your fault.
You've been brain washed into this sort of thinking by UR over the years.
Just urge the nearest person to slap you hard in an attempt to break the trance.

One of those harsh laws of rugby.
Not really! It's one of those harsh laws of Nigel.
He just makes them up.
Like - "They started moving just after I called, 'Use it!'"
Yes, Nigel, that's because the Scarlets' stopped pushing when they heard the call. It was your mistake and comes from the fact that you are always too quick to call 'Use it'. The ball is in play, let the players play the feckin thing!

Suggest you go watch the A side
It's closer to his standard but he does very well there and brings a lot of experience
The problem you allude to is expecting a back row of Timoney Jones and Cross to be able to start versus Leinster and win us a game
2 of them are still developing and all should be used in stronger backrows to allow for rotation
Cross at 6 with Reidy at 7 and Coetzee at 8 can do a job and allpw guys like Henry a rest
Cross at 7 with academy boys leaves them all inexperienced and not at the top level

Clive Ross and Timoney should not be in the same sentence. Timoney will be a fantastic player.
Again I find myself agreeing Snipe, about Timoney, Clive Ross, I have sympathy for, I don't think he's nearly as bad as some paint him and I understand he has thrown heart & soul into the A team in the B/I Cup.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Best he gets his skates on because he ain't a patch on Beirne currently.
Totally different kind of player.
Younger too.
So if Beirne is older and one of the best players in the league, why is he playing for the Scarlets and not us being my original point.
Timoney could be learning his trade there.
No matter what way you odds it I'd take Beirne.
The exact sort of player we need.
Tadgh Beirne is a decent player in a team playing well and having a great season. I'll disagree with your statement that he's one of the best players in the league. We'll see how he goes at Munster next season. I can't see him forcing his way into the Ireland set up, but I could be wrong.
Beirne will be in the setup for damn sure. Quin Roux is in the setup ffs. He will of course have to prove himself at international level. Having Hendo, Ryan Beirne and big Dev heading into the world cup will be a cupboard well stocked with second rows. All offering something very different.
