Ah, classic backtracking, must be hard for him.

Similar interview appeared on balls.ie this morning, from reading the article it's clear he believes his own hype. The Dublin media have blown that much smoke up his hole he literally believes that Leinster will come straight back in for him, he clearly doesn't want to be anywhere else otherwise he'd have gone to Munster or Connacht instead of Bordeaux.

If he was good enough for Bordeaux, he would be starting for Bordeaux, end of but its everyone else's fault but his.

And sure Joey Carbery has been anointed the new chosen one anyway so he may get used to not being the golden boy any more.

He'll end up at Bristol or Gloucester.
Would Bristol or Gloucester want him ?

All joking aside, genuine question D4, would you take Madigan back? Do you think he'd come back to be in exactly the same position as he was before, if not one step further down the ladder?
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

To be serious for a moment, Mads would be behind Carberry now and would be lucky enough to get any kind of a bench spot.
To hell or to Connacht seem to be his options, unless Saints pick him up. He could stay in the vineyards at Bordeaux and hope to come back into favour. Stranger things have happened.

On a happier note, Fergus McFadden is back tonight which will cheer up lots on this forum. :mexican:

I have it on excellent authority that Ferg is a very good guy. Just because he succumbed to Dublin Meejah flattery and believed it, I don't believe he has become a bad person.

He's a decent player, a bit like Robbie Diack but slightly harder.

NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

I particularly liked when he said he single handedly beat Italy in a 6Nations game

May be a decent guy but lacks any serious skill as a professional rugby player and had he played for anyone but Leinster he would have been given his customary one cap versus Fiji

Would Bordeaux want to keep him after the bitching he's done to the media? Same bitching that divulged information from what he claimed were private conversations Image.

It's a shame he's made a monumental hash of his career like this.

The language barrier would be worse in Newport than in Bordeaux though.

Yes, they obviously believe all the hype too so it's a match made in heaven Image

Mads: I'd love to play for any of the provinces.

Connacht: not interested.

Leinster: Jonny can play injured, we don't need you.

Munster: you're worse than Keatley.

Ulster: look we have to talk to you or some guy on bakebook will complain, how much you looking?

Mads: 42 grand a month.

Ulster: lol.
I have my own tv channel, what have you got?
