Ian Madigan has started very well with Bordeaux kicking 5 penalties as they beat Racing 92 by 15 points to 9 points.

Western Province winger Kobus Wyk has been poached by Bordeaux-Bègles according to South African media reports.

According to Netwerk24, the 24-year-old has been signed by the Top 14 club and will join them with immediate effect.

Exeter travelling to Bristol tonight - on BT Sport. Exeter only mid table so far 1/3 wins.

Ian Madigan's Bordeaux-Begles with a slow start to the Top 14 - 2/5 wins and sitting in 11th place whereas Clermont are top of the table - unbeaten so far and travel to Toulon on Sunday - this is on Sky Sports (3:15pm KO).

Second string Clermont side is a little bit of an overstatement. Yes they are missing several key players but that's more or less the spine of their full strength team.

15. Scott Spedding, 14. Adrian Plante, 13. Remi Lamerat, 12. Wesley Fofana, 11. Nick Abendanon, 10. Patricio Fernandez, 9. Ludovic Radosavljevic; 1. Raphael Chaume, 2. Benjamin Kayser, 3. Aaron Jarvis, 4. Flip van der Merwe, 5. Sebastien Vahaamahina, 6. Julien Bardy, 7. Alexandre Lapandry, 8. Damien Chouly.

16. Yohan Beheregaray, 17. Etienne Falgoux, 18. Paul Jedrasiak, 19. Judicael Cancoriet, 20. Charlie Cassang, 21. Camille Lopez, 22. Benson Stanley, 23. Clement Ric.

They have a very strong squad. The Sky lads said they had made 10 changes from the home game v Bordeaux.

That's a fair point. I only saw the team and, based on the injuries they currently have, I reckon they're only five or six players off their strongest side there.
