Stand Up for the Westies
Must admit I watched more of the Tiggers v Montpellier match, but that was a phenomenal performance and result for the Westies
4 from 4 for Ireland AGAIN!

Re: Stand Up for the Westies
What a performance from Connacht, absolutely fantastic stuff. For those who didn't catch it, Toulouse went for the corner from a very kickable penalty within 2 minutes so were going out all guns blazing for the TBP. The workrate and commitment was phenomenal.
Good thing we're all talking about bringing qualification into the Rabo, at least then Connacht and Cardiff won't qualify and the French can pick up a few points

Re: Stand Up for the Westies
Almost certainly the best weekend of results ever for Irish teams, 3 snatterings & probably the biggest upset the HC has ever seen.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

You could have got 50/1 on Connacht on Friday!BaggyTrousers wrote:Almost certainly the best weekend of results ever for Irish teams, 3 snatterings & probably the biggest upset the HC has ever seen.
Volunteer at an animal sanctuary; it will fill you with joy , despair, but most of all love, unconditional love of the animals.

Gonna Party Like It's 1999
Re: Stand Up for the Westies
And there is why any cross boarder tournament without the Irish would be demeaning, cracking win from our western breather.....

Well done Westies, my second Province. Spiritual stuff tbh, and why the HEC can't be destroyed by those APL W*nkers.. Bottom of Rabo guffs Top of Top 14.... tee hee
Exterminate all rational thought
Re: Stand Up for the Westies
There I was coming back from Leinster's extraordinary performance against the Saints thinking it was the game of the weekend when Connacht trumped it all.
How many times does the Toulouse budget exceed that of the westies? 10 times or 20 times?
I have never really seen Henshaw in such a game of quality before today but he certainly looks like he has the credentials to step up.
Marmion is class too. They could be two western additions to the Leinster squad for the 6N

Absolute magic. Tremendously gutsy performance.

Think we should pop onto their board and say well done

Re: Stand Up for the Westies
That has done us a real favour because before a ball was kicked you would have said the best runner up and a top seeded home quarter finalist would come from that pool and the rest would be battling it out for the other spots.
That result improves our chances of either best runner up or a home qf spot.
Thanks Connacht.
