..one more thing
Re: Connacht 17/18
Godwin has got 1 cap for the Aussies. Butler will be IQ’d in summer 2020, the other 3 will have to do the 5 year PP period under the new rules - so IQ’d in summer 2023.Columbo wrote:5 - of which 4 are potential projects AFAICS - Horwitz, Reece, Goodwin, Butler and now Fainga'aCracker wrote:With their new signings how many NIQ's do Connaught now have?

Hardly worth the wait for the new guys.

Any project player signed after Jan 1 2018 will have to do the 5 years qualifying period.

Re: Connacht 17/18
We should apply for Connacht status since we are not accorded D4 or Munter status, Connacht can sign whoever they bloody well like.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.

Re: Connacht 17/18
New 3 year sponsorship deal between Connacht and Bank of Ireland, doubtless this is part of the few dollars more that the FIRFUCs secured for their treachery against Paddy & Wee Stu.

Re: Connacht 17/18
Former Ulster and Munster player Angus Lloyd on the bench for Connacht v Munster tomorrow.
Re: Connacht 17/18
It was close but Connacht grabbed the win over Sale. Great stuff.
It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.
Re: Connacht 17/18
A win in Round 6 could see them through as a lucky loser. Sale ahead on head to head.
Re: Connacht 17/18
Paddy McAllister will leave Gloucester to join Connacht next season.

That all but confirms we have a monster NIQ loosehead prop to be announced!Neill_M wrote:Paddy McAllister will leave Gloucester to join Connacht next season.
We clearly need a loosehead and their wouldn't have been much better Irish qualified out there. There is no way Paddy would have turned down a return to Ulster over going to Connacht.
