They have a brutal front 5 though and will take some serious work to break down their organised defence.
I think Clermont are my favourite top 14 club and hope they can pull it off .Bon chance Mon ami
Merci mon ami
Their front 5 is rough indeed.
That will be the key of the match in my opinion

is that the right topic to talk about the final of the champions cup?
If not, would you have a link for the good one?
Thank you.
I need ulstermen opinion about a chance of Clermont to win the final.
You are a super club with amazing fans, but Sarries are v good so I think they will win...sorry
I agree with that, no worries.
It just would be nice to be our go this year, at least !
Le marseillais wrote:Yes, Saracencs look better than us, but why not?
Is that right that most people in Ireland will support Clermont for this game?
Put it this way my friend, nobody in Ireland will be supporting Saracens, except maybe Shan, he loves Les Rosbifs.
I would dearly love to see Clermont win, you have been a great team for several years, winning the SDC would be deserved.
NEVER MOVE ON. Years on, I cannot ever watch Ireland with anything but indifference, I continue to wish for the imminent death of Donal Spring, the FIRFUC's executioner of Wee Paddy & Wee Stu, and I hate the FIRFUCs with undiminished passion.
No return of Mr Nagusa as Montpellier will 5th best T14 side and in pot 3. R92 could finish as 4th best - 1/3 chance of 2nd pot. Castres will be in pot 4.
Toulon edged a tight SF in Marseille 18-15 over La Rochelle with a last minute DG. La Rochelle got a red card for a tip tackle at around 55 mins. Turned the game.

Very real, possible field trip for next season. Direct flights from Dublin.
Aye real enough, two people I know have been to watch them independently, good club and lovely place I understand. Think all home games sell out.

Superb town, Dave. Has a railway station and an airport all to itself. You can fly there from Dublin. You should go there! I'm hoping we get them in the pool stages next season!!

Some start to the Top14 final by Clermont according to the scoreboard anyway.
The hits going in are absolutely savage.
What interests me is the fact that Clermont forwards contest every defensive ruck, you feel each time a turnover is imminent, something I hope Jonno brings with him to Ulster.
