cracking name, will definitely try and get a bottle at Christmas. was in Stellenbosch just recently - wonderful area, aside from all the negatives you'd associate with modern South African society. big fan of the pinotage since!

Tried it, quaffing wine, nothing more, but then that's all some of you peasants here need

Quaffing wine is all you need as when you are on the third bottle posh stuff is a waste of money.Kofi Annan wrote:Tried it, quaffing wine, nothing more, but then that's all some of you peasants here need

I've only tried the white and thought it was delicious but in qualifying that, I am a big sauvignon blanc fan and wouldn't wash my golf clubs in too many other whites, barring a very dry riesling. I love Rioja but despise white Rioja, used to tolerate Albarino, now would give it away. Chardonnay? No thanks, though doubtless someone could put a really nice one in front of me.Wee Woman wrote:I tend to lose my memory after 3 glasses of red so steer well clear lol.

I'm told by the man who gave me the white that the red is better. Must get the hold of some.

Just heard on the radio that Jamie Cudmore of Clermont has his own wine called Sin Bin! He can celebrate with a drop of it tonight!
